When looking for a unique and useful tool you shouldn't overlook some oddballs like this Frog Tool from Gatco/Timberline! Featuring a socket adaptor, valve stem removal tool and spark plug gapper it does things few other multitools have even tried!

Let's finish off Keychain Week at Multitool.org with this often forgotten about tool, the Schrade ST2, also known as the Tough Chip and produced back when Schrade was a brand you could count on!

We couldn't do Keychain Week at Multitool.org without a look at the Multitool.org version of the Raker Ring Tool. This version was hand made by CRKT designer and Forged in Fire repeat contestant (and fan favorite!) Ray Kirk!
Continuing on with Keychain Week, we have the Gerber Vise! You may think we featured it a while ago, but in fact, that was the sister tool, the Splice- the main difference being the Splice has scissors and the Vise has pliers.

The Gerber Dime never fails to start a discussion, but one thing no one can deny is that it has the best bottle opener of any keychain multitool!
The Leatherman Leap is one of those understated, underrated tools. Yeah, it's meant for kids, comes in a bunch of colors and has a blade that you install when they are ready, but it's also a Leatherman, so it's ready (and able!) to work!

Few pocket knives manage to be inexpensive, readily available and good quality, but the Gerber Paraframe series like this partially serrated tanto scores on all three.
Working outdoors in the winter is never pleasant- especially in hailstorms like today, but this Victorinox Cadet is definitely up to the task!

This tiny tool has several interesting features including a multi wrench, bike spoke wrench, wire stripper, protractor, small ruler (Metric and Imperial), but is probably best known for the hole going through it, allowing it to function as a pipe for those who partake.

Some say its ugly, but I think it is one beautiful blade, and it was one of my white whales! Unfortunately as I'm in Canada and it's February, it's going to be a while before this Spyderco Caspian Salt can prove itself where it's meant to be, in or on the water!

What kind of people would write collect and review multitools? Quite simple really- we are designers and do-ers, outdoors types and indoor types, mechanics, doctors, problem solvers and problem makers. As such, we have, as a world spanning community, put every type, size and version of multitool, multifunction knife, pocket knife and all related products to every test we could manage in as many places and environments as there are.
